Stefanie Sun is back! And wow!!

She retains her spunk and her unique singing style. Maybe her voice and songs are something only her fans would love, but even with a few off-key notes during her performance, we (fans) would only strug it off (after all who's perfect?) and say again "WOW!!!", what was a brilliant performance!

Stef certainly gave us her all, and as she said, she's back, she's home! It was a dazzling concert of many expectations, and these were met. Stef showed us her performer side, which has honed since her debut many years ago. In fact, I became her fan only after watching her play the piano and singing "Tian Hei Hei" and I have been ever since. This is Stef's 3rd concert in Singapore and only my 2nd (how irritating it was to have to go for reservist during her 2nd concert, and miss her! - who can blame me for hating serving the country then?). Anyway, Stef strutted her stuff, wowed us with her ensemble of constumes, and most importantly, shared her voice. Even one of her teachers commented to say how she was our national treasure, and certainly no Singaporean, even those not her fans, would be un-proud of her and her achievements.

Stef's performance was also very earnest, in between her songs, unabashedly and very unlike the normally reserved Stef, she asked us to sing her a birthday song as her birthday is coming up (23 July, and as she requested, not to reveal her age so I won't indicate it here although you can easily google this), and even helped coordinate her fans to scream for her that "Stefanie, we love you!".

Ha ha. Undeniably, one of her best performance, heartfelt and original. That's our Stefanie Sun Yanzi!

Enjoy the photos here, I have edited them for optimal web viewing, if you require the originals drop me a note. Can't believe I actually took over 250 photos of her, too bad I had missed her last casual outfit when my camera battery went flat on me.

All good things.
